Jesus Predicts His Death

²⁷ “Now my soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, deliver me from this hour’? But for this reason I have come to this hour! ²⁸ Father, glorify your name!” Then a voice came from heaven, “I have both glorified it,^[a] and I will glorify it^[b] again.” ²⁹ Now the crowd that stood there and heard it^[c] said it had thundered.^[d] Others were saying, “An angel has spoken to him!”
